Bosom Pals Recent Fundraising Events

Sponsored Walk 25th March 2007

Over 300 walkers took part in this years walk. Many walkers were sporting Bosom Pals t-shirts and other items of pink apparel - even the men! It was good to see such support. Big thanks to all who took part in the walk or supported the walkers at the registration point, water stations and finishing line. STOP PRESS : total raised this year is £29,876!!!!!!!!!!

St. Patrick's Day Celebration, March 2007

Bosom Pals supporter, Jill Tidd, raised £380 from selling traditional Irish fare such as Irish stew, colcannon and champ. A raffle was also held for a Bosom Pals bear and a Bear naming competition.

Quiz Night, March 2007

The Anchor Public House, Canewdon raised £130 for Bosom Pals. Thankyou to the oraganisers and all who took part in the quiz.

The London Marathon, April 2007

New Years Eve Hawaiian Party and Pink Night, March 2007

The Windjammer Public House, Canvey Island has been very busy raising money for Bosom Pals with these 2 events. The Pink Night included a raffle with prizes kindly donated by customers. A cheque for £1220 was presented by Eileen Crockford, Tracey Lenette and Joan Arnold to staff at Southend Breast Unit where all the proceeds from Bosom Pals fundraising is put to very good use.
